Is this a good job for students not majoring in Marketing or business?
Absolutely. The majority of salesmen that work for NineFold are not marketing or business majors. The skills you learn in this job are irreplaceable in any future field of work you enter.
Do Sales Reps need a vehicle during the summer?
Though a vehicle is encouraged, it is not required. Half of our salesmen on average bring a vehicle and salesman often work out rides to and from their sales area and meetings if they do not have a personal vehicle.
What expenses should one expect during the summer?
Sales reps will be responsible for food, transportation, and entertainment during the summer. Though reps do make money during the summer to finance these expenses, the first couple of weeks of the summer it is wise to bring some extra money along before the first paychecks are issued.
Is this job safe?
Yes. In the 50 years combined experience that the owners have in the door to door sales industry, we have never had any serious injuries or safety concerns that warrant worry while knocking on doors.
